Sephora SEA is looking to reinforce its Data Base Team by recruiting a Database Specialist to manage product information and set-ups across its Information Systems.
Missions and Responsibilities

The Data Base Specialist has the responsibility to ensure product data availability, accuracy, and cleanliness through its lifecycle to support business processes and data analysis needs.
To achieve this, he / she works closely with teams in charge of managing Sephora product offer (Category managers either at Regional level or in countries, merchandising team), teams in charge of products procurement (Demand Planners and Countries Supply Chain Managers), as well as with the Global Sephora Corporate Data Base team based in France.
Key Tasks:
  • Managing product database (goods for Sale, marketing products like samples, Gratuities…) for all Sephora SEA retail and Digital entities: product creation, lifecycle updates such as end of life / discontinuation, supplier information, pricing, etc.
  • Maintains data integrity, ensuring that all data are updated in accordance with procedures and guidelines. Validates data provided by Category Teams and reject inaccurate / incomplete information.
  • Manages product assortment in stores to ensure efficient replenishment of stores; he / she ensures that set-up is correct for newness items and that further assortment changes are properly updated.
  • Provides a control function to ensure data accuracy, consistency and cleanliness on both new items and existing catalogue.
  • Interrogates and reports on the data
  • Communicates updated information, catalogues and analyses results regularly and on an ad-hoc basis
  • In a team of 3, he / she takes responsibility on some countries, and act as a backup of the other Data Base specialist.

  • Data accuracy (availability, accessibility, consistency, usability)

  • Meeting and completion of activities within deadlines

Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Operations Management or Supply Chain.
  • No experience required, however 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain/ relevant field related to data will be beneficial.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
