Regional Director, Expatriate Solutions

What the day will look like

Market and Solution Management

  • Ensure quality and consistency of expat broking processes in Asia
  • Assist with development of regional and international SBS platforms
  • Provide oversight and leadership to expat and country broking teams in responding to tenders and renewals as required
  • Work with CEO H&B Head and Head of GBM to develop carrier management relationships in Asia
  • Work with CEO H&B Head and Head of GBM to develop associated expat solutions in Asia to include product, TPA and client support innovation
  • Maintain Aon carrier relationship data and relevant market data around expat and high-end medical
Generating Profitable Revenue
  • Input and support around the execution of Regional and Local Market sales plans
  • Supporting local H&B leaders and sales teams in winning expat opportunities
  • Maintain prospecting pipeline across the Large Market, Regional and Global segments
  • Leading and managing responses to tenders and developing quality presentations as needed, working with the relevant country and regional expertise
  • Facilitating cross-selling and up-selling activities in the Large Market, Regional and Global segments, including where appropriate the introduction of Aon, Aon Benfield and ARS colleagues/services
  • Following the Aon sales process protocols, including clearly defined sales strategy and activity, accurate pipeline reporting updates through Aon Connect usage and compliance with marketing and branding standards
Additional responsibilities:
  • Performing other duties and tasks as reasonably assigned by your Manager and members of the Regional Leadership Team
  • Contributing, as required, to H&B Asia and GB APAC initiatives and leadership forums
  • Engaging with all internal country and regional teams to bring the best of Aon to the client, and in particular by working closely with Global Benefits APAC and H&B Asia teams
  • Maintaining a continual professional development standard through Aon University and any other industry driven licensing (not relevant if not providing client advice) or educational requirements
  • On-going adherence with the Aon Leadership Model (ALM) behaviours
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Experience as an adviser, consultant or account manager in the Insurance Industry and/or Health & Benefits Industry, working with individuals and multinational clients across sectors.
  • Background in Sales and Business Development with experience in the IPMI market is highly desirable
  • Degree or Diploma in any relevant discipline
  • Minimum regulatory requirements (BCP, PGI. CommGI, HI, M5, M9) for registration as Broking and FA rep with MAS.
  • Inter-personal skill and focus on service excellence.
  • Client management experience, analytical, critical thinking, problem solving skills required.
  • Ability to manage and influence key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Self-disciplined and organised.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
