Client Details
Our client is a listed broadcasting firm from the GCR region. They are renowned for their content and exclusive celebrity partners. With significant content production capabilities and range, they are a longstanding brand in the industry. They are looking to hire a Regional Director of Sales & Partnerships to grow their licensing and advertising sales revenue in the SEA region, particularly Singapore and Malaysia where they anticipate double digit growth in the next eighteen months and eventually $50m-$100m SGD.

Reporting to the Division Head, this Regional Director, Sales & Partnerships [SEA] will be measured on the following criteria:
Understand category-specific landscapes and trends and provide the right advertising and marketing solutions
Developing and implementing a comprehensive business strategy for overseas content distribution on both traditional and new media platforms, with a focus on revenue generation and market penetration.
Identifying and cultivating relationships with key business partners, including traditional broadcasters, OTT operators, social media platforms, e-commerce platforms, sponsors, advertisers and agencies.
Overseeing the negotiation and execution of distribution and other business agreements, ensuring that they are structured to maximize revenue and minimize risk.
Creating and executing marketing plans to promote our content to overseas audiences, including on-air and online promotion, events, and digital content production.

Profile
To be successful in this role you would have the following skills:
Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Engineering or another relevant discipline
Ten years or more in a sales and/or partnerships role and ideally, worked in the media/OTT space
Experience in SEA markets is a must, with a focus on Singapore & Malaysia
High level of energy and enthusiasm
Excellent listening and negotiation skills; fluency in Mandarin is a must as the content teams at HQ are mainly using Mandarin for written and spoken communication
Flexibility to travel in SEA and GCR regions with possible short term relocation when needed
