Regional Ecommerce Marketplace Manager

Job Description


Position Summary To formulate and spearhead regional marketplace (e.g. Lazada, Shopee, Amazon) strategy and revenue growth within the region. This includes engaging with regional marketplaces and managing partnership, tracking and driving pure player sales inclusive of baseline monthly revenue, mega campaigns, to ensure success. The role also requires close and regular interface with regional platform partners to grow the business.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Key PIC for regional marketplaces (e.g. Lazada, Shopee) to manage / grow partnership and drive sales through discussion and alignment with on campaign goals and ways of collaboration.
  • Work with regional platform partners and sales subsidiaries to define campaign revenue targets and other measurements of campaign success.
  • Collate key promotion details from local markets, such as channel plan, campaign dates, model-wise promotion list as well as analysis on competitiveness
  • Run regular checks on Samsung official store merchandising on online platforms to ensure optimal shopper journey and brand compliance, including corresponding recommendations to local sales subsidiaries.
  • Liaise with other internal stakeholders (HQ, Regional Performance Marketing, PR, Corporate Marketing, etc.) to ensure integration into overall regional marketplaces plan.
  • Deliver interim and final reports on partner performance, including web analysis and evaluation of KPIs.
  • Sharing of periodic online platform analysis with local sales subsidiaries including follow-up actions to improve the business.
  • Management of particular product category in the e-Commerce space including monitoring of demand planning to sales achievement

Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree holder with at least 6 years of relevant working experience in e-Commerce / sales within the consumer space. Some knowledge or experience in marketing will be an added advantage.
  • Highly professional and collaborative individual with the ability to interact well with all levels
  • Excellent communication skills to manage relationships with regional platform and third parties as well as persuade stakeholders
  • Good project management skills, to be able to effectively work with a budget, meet deadlines for multiple projects and ensure sales target is being met.
  • Sound analytical skills, to be able to acquire and analyze data to draw actionable insights and apply towards sales achievement
  • Strong execution & follow through skills with multi-functional team & external partners
