As the HOD of One Samsung B2B, your role will focus on growing Samsung\xe2\x80\x99s B2B presence in enabling and assisting our local sales organizations in the development of business opportunities, vertical solutions and strategic partnerships for the sale of Samsung Electronics technology across all the products & solutions (i.e. Mobile, Visual Displays, Air Conditioning and others)

This role will be based in Singapore and is responsible for the South East Asia and Oceania region.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Source, secure, and develop strategic relationships with partners to expand cross-business ecosystem and addressable market opportunities
  • Create, identify, and execute new growth and complex opportunities by understanding key customer requirements and translating gaps to business solutions
  • Drive regional business opportunities & sales conversion focusing on Key Accounts and Partners (i.e. Regional/local Distributor, SI/VAR/Resellers, Solution Partners, etc.)
Collaboration & Support to local sales teams
  • Collaborate, coach, enable and support local sales organizations and lead engagement with selected regional business opportunities
  • Work in lock-step with HQ and regional teams by leveraging global ecosystem and best practices to strengthen One Samsung B2B capabilities in the region
Go-to-market Strategy
  • Work with both regional and local teams, as well as key Channels Partners to develop Joint value proposition and GTM strategies to drive One Samsung B2B growth
  • Provide regular and timely update and progress reports for management on a regular basis
Regional & Local Support for Events / Enablement Workshops
  • Deliver high impact, high quality presentations to decision makers by delivering thought leadership, sharing of One Samsung B2B solutions\xe2\x80\x99 best practices and use cases, and establishing Samsung as the vendor of choice
  • Provide enablement sessions to channels/partners/customers on Samsung Enterprise Mobility, mobile devices, displays, air conditioning and other products & solutions
Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of regional experience in B2B business development, market development, strategic partnerships and/or consulting services
  • Experience in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), is a must.
  • Experience in Professional & Visual Displays and Enterprise Mobility is an plus.
  • Strategic mindset and sound business acumen are required, along with effective decision making, contract negotiation, and partner management skills
  • Comfortable at proposing, engaging and influencing decision makers at C-Suite and top-level management
  • Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are a must
  • Ability to work effectively across internal highly matrixed and external organizations
  • Executive level presence and world class communications skills with verbal and written skills in English
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate key value proposition w possible and unique selling proposition to cross-functional audiences
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, assertive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about technology and new technology trends
