Get to know the Role:
You will report to the Head of GrabAds and Monetisation.
As the Regional Head of Self-Service Ads at GrabAds, you will lead the development and execution of the small and medium-sized business (SMB) advertising strategy. Working with cross-functional teams, your focus will be on driving revenue growth through tailored advertising solutions for SMBs. You\'ll manage a team and collaborate with leaders from various departments (e.g. Country Operations, Technology functions, Marketing, etc) to create a compelling Self-Serve Ad Platform solution. Your responsibilities include business planning and execution, people leadership and team management and achievement of target metrics.
General Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive SMB advertising strategy aligned with business goals and market trends.
Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth by identifying monetization opportunities and optimizing SMB ad campaigns.
Customer Acquisition and Retention: Develop strategies to acquire new SMB advertisers and ensure high customer satisfaction and retention rates. Set clear pipeline management goals and KPIs for the team across multiple opportunity areas
Performance Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Product Development: direct product input to the design and build of our SMB platforms working alongside our Product & Engineering leadership
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align SMB advertising efforts with overall business strategies.
People & Org leadership: Build (i.e. hiring, coaching, developing, motivating) a high-performing and culturally aligned team of Grabbers
Be a Role Model by ensuring a healthy working culture based on mutual respect and by personally embodying and demonstrating Grab principles.
The day-to-day activities
Identify and drive business, product, and operational marketing requirements needed to support Merchant customers utilizing Grab\xe2\x80\x99s SMB self-serve advertising services
Train, and deploy the GrabAds Solutions to the Merchant team & Mex through collaboration with Product Marketing, B2B marketing and Customer Success resources
Gain a deep understanding of local needs for various sized Merchant partners including how their businesses operate, and what challenges Grab can help alleviate to make them successful through our digital advertising offerings.
Design and Deploy scalable processes in collaboration with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance functions to support a high volume of Merchant partners
Collaborate with business units on joint marketing activity and develop our own SMB marketing programs
Forecasting and providing performance Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to stakeholders. Key business dashboard benchmark designed KPIs
Organize and drive weekly updates, meetings, and communication across countries, product & engineering stakeholders.
Evangelize & Socialize among key stakeholders the importance of the SMB Advertising business as an important and very scalable path to profitability
Oversee team\xe2\x80\x99s people management aspects including managing a highly motivated team, hiring / coaching / mentoring / retaining best-in-class performers, resource planning, career development and providing guidance for your Team Leads. Provide a conducive and progressive team environment for growth and learning.

Solid experience in B2B sales or general management with experience working with SMBs in Southeast Asia
Previous experience with Self-Serve online sales platforms and customer adoption strategies
Sound understanding & experience of the digital Ads Ecosystem both Online and Offline
Experience leveraging sales enablement tools (CRM, Content, Marketing Automation, etc\xe2\x80\xa6)
Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and enforcing cross-functional processes
Excellent communication & presentation skills with the ability to transmit across different level stakeholders
Analytical with a strong bias for data-based decisions
Team Player with the ability to work across a matrix environment in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams in similar capacities.
