Summary
As part of the Intermodal team, you will be responsible for driving intermodal commercial performance within the APAC region to achieve carrier haulage target. In addition, you will be responsible for driving new intermodal product launch to enhance the Group\'s inland network coverage by conducting analysis and identify new inland and value-added services opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage intermodal performance with overall volume and profitability accountability for the APAC region
  • Focal of contact accountable to HO for all matters relating to APAC Intermodal developments and performance
  • Strategize country specific action plans to increase intermodal volume and revenue per country
  • Initiate new product launch campaign with countries and marketing team for any promotional materials and tools
  • Partner with Lines/Trades to increase intermodal volume and alignment to market condition and pricing.
  • Promotion of intermodal products to Global Accounts/IFF/Sales to generate incremental volume
  • Drive weekly performance data and follow up with country for any significant deviation from target and derive course of action
  • Proactive review of intermodal pricing, taking into consideration market trends, equipment situation and changes in transport costs
  • Adhoc intermodal related project
Minimum Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree, discipline in maritime business or logistic is preferable
  • Minimum 5 years experience in shipping
  • Strong team player and communicates well with all stakeholders
  • Strong ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Good analytical skills and keen eye for details
  • Expert in excel and related applications
