Our Client:

Our client is an automotive manufacturing company that produces aerodynamics, propulsion, battery solutions, and structural weight solutions for vehicles. They're specialized in the field of healthcare, automobile, plastic manufacturing, and 3D printing services. They are actively looking for a Regional IT Manager to join their ever-growing team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

IT Risk / IT Security Task

  • Develop IT security policy and operational procedures based on information collected
  • Develop a documented action plan containing policies, practices and procedures that mitigate the identified risks
  • Document information related to IT security attacks, threats, risks, and controls
  • Establish a standard methodology for performing security tests in accordance with security requirements
  • Establish review procedures based on company's security risk management plan
  • Evaluate effectiveness of current incident response plan against industry good practices
  • Evaluate response plans periodically to ensure relevance
  • Identify threats and risks that are relevant to organisation's operations and systems
  • Monitor the effectiveness of action plans in addressing information risks
  • Obtain corporate management's endorsement of security policies, standards, and procedures by articulating cost and benefits
  • Perform comparative analysis of security service performance level parameters against security information sources
  • Rate and categorise potential security incidents
  • Recommend suitable enhancements to improve information security performance
  • Review business and security environment to identify existing requirements
  • Review security policies, standards, and procedures by considering the threats identified and other information collected
  • Support compliance efforts through proper tracking of assets and operations
Business Enhancement Task
  • Work with the team to create process, documentation and aim for global standardization to help streamline and speed up support
  • Drive global projects and ensure timely delivery
  • Negotiate between external vendors and suppliers to resolve often highly technical or contentious issues and conflicts to ensure that projects and work packages are delivered on time and within budget
  • Lead the IT team to create a new level of innovation, capability, and service excellence
  • To lead, plan & execute implementation of the agreed initiatives for Microsoft Navision Section. This will require working with other department team in terms of analysing the requirements, studying the options available & working towards a standard solution, which meets the requirements in an effective & efficient manner
  • Fully understand the business requirements and translate these to effective and meaningful information
  • Build and modify operational database structures as identified based on business requirements
  • Manage and maintain the Change Request for ERP System
  • Assist in data mining, data cleansing and data extraction and ensure data integrity
  • Manage companywide management reporting requirement and deliver reports timely to the management team and business units
  • Documentation of Request for reports, SOP, and business requirements
  • Produce reports using the BI tools
  • Support general day to day ERP activities
Infrastructure Task
  • Contribute to the operation of IT services with a strong level of stability and availability (O365, Microsoft Navision, Active Directory)
  • Document, track and monitor users' problems to ensure swift resolution in IT Architecture
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to other employees
  • Enforce collaboration and shared practices with the rest of the IT team
  • Review backup and ensure backup can be restored accordingly
  • Review Managed contract and ensure licenses
  • Manages all IT activities in Asia with weekly and monthly updates to Germany (HQ) in IT Projects, IT Infrastructure, IT Network, ERP systems, IT Security, IT Compliance, and IT Operation Updates
The Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or similar
  • Master's degree in technology management or business management would be a plus
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years in IT managerial role
  • Advanced knowledge of CIS innovation and integration
  • Experience with Microsoft Navision
  • Experience in Network Architecture
  • Ability to manage IT support teams, as well as hire and train new IT staff
  • Extensive experience in collaborating with CIS development teams and users
  • Ability to diagnose faults, oversee CIS user-testing, and implement required changes
  • Ensuring optimal hardware and software functionality, as well as network security
