Job Description
A financial institution is looking to hire a lawyer to help with legal and compliance matters for the region. You will be responsible for the following
- Serve as the primary contact with regulators
- Identify and review regulations
- Implement and monitor policies, procedures and controls
- Provide prompt regulatory advice and support to the business
- Review internal policies and explaining their requirements and applications to the business
- Manage regulatory filings and notifications including licensing of relevant entities
- Manage and oversee regulatory examinations and inspections
- Conduct investigations into legal, compliance and / or ethics issue
