POSITION SUMMARY:

In collaboration with the Senior Regional manager, the interventional application and training specialist will create and execute learning and application programs relevant to the needs of the Interventional business unit. This successful applicant will become familiar with various environments that the Interventional products will be utilized in. Will provide application support to the APAC Country teams, assist in achieving APAC strategic marketing initiatives through the provision of product training and support the application of products in relevant procedures. This position will collaborate with Country Interventional and CMA teams in market research, development of clinical educational materials and key opinion leaders in the relevant interventional field.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support strategic growth opportunities for the business unit.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of interventional product portfolio
• In collaboration with the field team, support the application of products in relevant procedures, and provide application support and training as required.
• Understand the strengths, and weaknesses of interventional products and competitive products.
• Partner with the marketing communications and downstream marketing teams to ensure the successful development and implementation of customer-facing materials, programs and all clinical education for product launches
• Integrate the latest evidence-based practice trends into product training.
• Perform literature reviews to support value proposition creation, claims, and messaging, and share new trends, publications and findings with the broader team.
• Support the development and execution of applications and training programs.
• Adhere to the Teleflex Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Tertiary degree or equivalent qualifications in one of the following fields: Engineering, Lifesciences, Nursing or allied health preferred
• Advanced degrees and certifications, advantageous but not mandatory.
• Medical Device industry experience, interventional cardiology/radiology, Critical Care, highly desirable.
• Minimum 2 years of Clinical/Medical education & training and development experience in in the medical device industry preferred.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must demonstrate knowledge and development of an adult learning plan.
• Ability to analyze clinical data and scientific publications, identifying and effectively communicating relevant key takeaways
• Proven ability to facilitate training programs/sessions.
• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
• 5 years or more in interventional & Critical care environment
• Willingness to maintain and advance knowledge related to the interventional speciaty
• Excellent communication and speaking skills
• Proficiency in using Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
