Job Description


Roles & Responsbilities

  • Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of regional new product project managers, ensuring team\xe2\x80\x99s projects meet financial, quality, customer service, inventory, and cost goals
  • Proactively develop/implement metrics, monitoring and control process remove obstacles for significantly enhanced remediation/renewals capability
  • Continually reassess and identified key risks and issues develop controls and metrics to escalate and support the evolving business & regulatory environment
  • Monitor project budget, scope and schedules and ensure projects are completed according to schedule to avoid lost revenue due to delayed office openings or moves
  • Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance
  • Oversee the Procurement/Material Sourcing and Approval across Asia Pacific markets
  • Liaise with the fixtures and materials suppliers across the region
  • Resposible for the entire store project function from design stage, fixture ordering, filling out, review tenders and construction til delivery
  • Ensure consistency of store filling out and brand standard in the region
  • Responsible for organizing workshops and training sessions for different markets within the region
  • Review the work progress on daily basis
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences
  • Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

Requirements and skills

  • Proven working experience in construction management as a Project Manager with track records.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process
  • Familiarity with construction management software packages
  • Ability to plan and see the \xe2\x80\x9cbig picture\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management
  • Leadership and human resources management skills
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
