Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Regional Network Engineer to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West \xe2\x80\x93 easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for handling the various tasks required for the company\xe2\x80\x99s network hardware and software (eg. design, installation, maintenance etc.)
- Responsible for overseeing the company\xe2\x80\x99s network performance and troubleshooting any issues when required
- Responsible for analysing the company\xe2\x80\x99s network traffic, preparing the necessary reports when required
- Responsible for the implementation/maintenance of the necessary network security regulations
- Responsible for completing the necessary maintenance tasks on the company\xe2\x80\x99s network infrastructure
- Responsible for supporting/resolving the various IT service requests by the company\xe2\x80\x99s stakeholders
- Responsible for handling the accurate documentation of the company\xe2\x80\x99s network configurations and updates
- In charge of liaising with the company\xe2\x80\x99s stakeholders to suggest new technologies/processes, helping to improve the various network/system performances
- In charge of supporting the company\xe2\x80\x99s stakeholders, helping with the development of the company\xe2\x80\x99s disaster recovery plans, as well as performing the necessary planned tests
- In charge of providing technical advice and training to the company\xe2\x80\x99s stakeholders on network matters
- All other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Information Technology or other relevant field of studies
- Min 5 years of relevant working experience
