• BS/BA degree in Real Estate, Business, Legal, Finance or related experience • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated regional experience in real estate management and/or portfolio/asset management, transaction management and/or lease administration • Experience in data center real estate or commercial real estate in a high performance, faced-paced environment • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience • Ability to work independently across multiple groups in a rapidly changing business environment

The Infrastructure team provides AWS and Amazon.com with the compute, network and datacenter capacity that are the foundations of the retail and cloud business. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced contracts professional to be responsible for our existing leased portfolio in APJC, managing our legal and operational rights and obligations and working closely with lessors at all stages of the life cycle of our contracts. Reporting to the Regional Manager Portfolio and Asset Management, this role will work very closely with our internal partner teams as well as our legal and finance teams to ensure we are effectively managing our leased portfolio of data centers in the region. The portfolio consists of leases across each of our Cloud regions and strategic lessors who own and operate key data centers. The ideal candidate can lead a team and be accountable for financial, operational and administrative aspects of the assigned portfolio to ensure optimal service at all times. They will assist with preparation of reporting, trends and analysis and will continuously support the transaction teams when considering expansions in region, leveraging new business to improve standards and obtain favorable renewal contracts. The ideal candidate is detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills that can work independently and will possess a high level of competence in performing a full range of property management responsibilities in an extremely fast-paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity. Key job responsibilities • Regional responsibility for the management of our leased portfolio in APJC • Data center expertise to ensure we have best in class contracts • Lease Management for life cycle – including all critical requirements including rent payments, amendments, key renewals (at least +36 months), reservations / ROFO’s • Responsible for overview of lease terms by lessor with a view to pro-actively support internal teams to improve our terms and leverage our growth, aligning renewal activity where possible • Strong understanding of all obligations contracted between AWS and lessors • Drive process creation, implementation and improvements • Develop and maintains global/business partnership between all key stakeholders • Take on additional projects, responsibilities, and duties as needed

• Demonstrated ability to establish processes, workflows, standard procedures and change management
• MS/MA in Finance, business, real estate degree or MBA
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with large, global real estate portfolios
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to leadership teams
• Experience with Tango or other commercial real estate lease management software
• Demonstrated understanding of current accounting standards (GAAP)
• Experience with interpreting complex industrial or Data Centre lease language related to CAM, Tax, Insurance and Repair & Maintenance clauses.
