Regional Retail Digital Lead

This is a Regional Marketing role, reporting to RMO Head/WHC RMO (TBC) and is a member of the regional Marketing Regional Strategy & Operations APAC team. The position holder is the "marketing lead" for Women's Health (WH) in APAC will be responsible in and manages and driving regional retail capability building and digital activation primarily for WHC portfolio as a start; with the potential to expand to Bayer portfolio. In area of retail, hHe / Sshe will drive retail focus countries in strengthening effectiveness of engagements in retail space.

He/she will constantly be evaluating new channel opportunities (eg: Telemedicine or other new digital opportunities,..) and develop regional activation where appropriate to support countries new users outreach objectivessupports the brands in the WH portfolio, which consists of short acting contraceptives, long acting contraception solutions, gynecological therapies, and new products for the region. His/ her main task is to build and optimize the brands and upcoming launches in the Women's Health portfolio in each of the respective markets in the APAC region, which are very heterogeneous. Therefore product mix, strategies need to be tailored and executed in a specific tailored country format to maximize the performance of brands across the portfolio

The incumbent works closely with, and guides country Marketers and commerical team to ensure success and performance of Women's Health brands across all markets, as well as representing the needs of the APAC region to Global stakeholders.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Co-develop Actively prioritize, manage and drive the key brands of the WH portfolio: YAZ, Yasmin, Mirena, Visanne, Diane35 for the respective customer sections for the various APAC countries
  • Build regional operational and strategic marketing plan with WHC RMO (retail/digital section), for these key brands in the portfolio taking into consideration the market environment, competitive aspects, specific business opportunities and risks
  • Liaise closely with Established Products (EP)country teams in assessing and driving the implementation of retail EP commercial strategies (e.g. go-to-market model, price positioning, pharmacy promotion, discounts, etc.) for WH EP brands (YAZ, Yasmin, Diane35) in countries as applicable
  • Champion countries in fully evaluate Telemedicine opportunities and incorporate into IBP where appropriate
  • Define, develop & manage the pre-launch and launch plans for pipeline assets for the region and for specific markets who are considering launch.
  • Design and implement programs that improve contraception utilization rates in the region by driving and coordinating market development activities (e.g. World Contraception Day, with educational digital initiatives in collaboration with APCOC)
  • Execute the implementation of regional Women's Health activities (e.g. launch kit for key brands, promotional materials, market research, education/training initiatives, regional speaker tours, PR activities, pricing & reimbursement strategy, symposia at regional congresses, KOL management, advisory boards/expert meetings, publication strategy) and continuously monitor local implementation
  • Collaborate with the brand/product managers in the APAC countries, to develop their local retail/digital brand plans and help countries assess their key marketing decisions. Track implementation and review performance
  • Act as regional interface between global HQ and the countries and represent AP interests in global teams
  • Ensure all activities supporting the Brand/s are compliant with legal requirements in the respective country and Bayer Corporate guidelines and regulations.
WHO YOU ARE:
  • Degree qualified
  • At least 5 years years' work experience with proven track record of success in different marketing & sales positions in the pharmaceutical industry especially in Retail Pharmacy Channel. Expertise Women's Healthcare field is an added advantage
  • APAC regional experience is a strong requirement as well as, local practices and customs about this therapeutic area
  • Strong results orientation, coupled with proven track record of success in building and managing Retail or Digital initiatives
  • Excellent influencing & communication skills and the ability to lead intercultural, cross-functional team members to achieve the business goals
  • Desire to win and high degree of urgency
  • Excellent in oral and written English and preferably a second foreign language
