You will be assigned Key account responsibilities to increase the sales and market in selected customers. Yearly account action plan needs to be developed with clear targets. The sales performance these accounts together with distributor performance will be your key KPIs. Works closely with the Director of Sales- Asia Pacific to appoint, train, evaluate and develop new agents, distributors and channels throughout the assigned territory. Develop and maintains strong relationships with the customer base as well as the distribution network. Also responsible for coordinating training, marketing activities and analysis of sales statistics as well as recommending and driving inventory levels within all distributors.

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities: (For assigned Selling Region)

  • Directly responsible for meeting the established sales budget for new order bookings and revenue at acceptable gross margins within the region.
  • Develop sales channels within the region that are capable of sustained and profitable growth
  • Develop proper sales metrics, strategies and programs to ensure their distribution team meets the required budgets and business development growth goals
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasts of expected business results to achieve sales goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with selected focus customers and with all sales channel partners. within the region.
  • Manage sales channel partners\xe2\x80\x99 activities to drive profitability within the region.
  • Provide commercial and technical leadership within the region for Dynisco/Viatran Plastics and Industrial Segments
  • Coordinate all regional training and marketing activities, including analysis of sales statistics within the region.
  • Provide recommendations for stocking levels required to support sales growth within the region.
  • Make field sales calls with local agents to evaluate and monitor results.
  • Coordinate the sales activities and strategies of the business within the region as necessary
  • Work effectively with peers within the business to manage the growth and flow of business
  • Establish and manage themselves and channel partner contracts In-line with corporate compliance guidelines.
Education
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business, Science or Engineering
Technical & Management Skills:
  • Experience selling technical products in a business environment and the ability to learn about and promote technical products.
  • Application selling experience needed.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, operation manuals etc.
  • Key account management knowledge
  • Proficient in business-based software: CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP
Key Performance Metrics: (For assigned Selling Region)
  • Sales Growth Performance vs. Plan Objectives
  • Gross Margin and Contribution Margin Performance vs. Plan Objectives
  • Provide updated monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts for the Asia Pacific selling region.
  • Quote to Order Conversion Rates
  • Deployment and Utilization of CRM for pipeline for prospecting and managing selling stages.
Language Skills:
  • Fluency in English. Additional language skills of Hindi or Tamil will be preferable.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with various customer disciplines and other sales professionals, senior management, and internal peers in a highly cooperative manner.
  • Strong ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
  • Ability to author reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues globally.
Travel Requirements:
  • Ability to travel from 50%+ of the time.
