What You Will Do
The core objective of the Regional Sales Manager is to sell and cross-sell the Civil Construction Solutions and increase sales and revenue thereby meeting the annual combined sales target of Field Solutions and Software.
You will manage the sales opportunities of Trimble Civil Engineering & Construction Division software solutions in the ASEAN Region. You will be selling software to our customers and partners. You will have a presence in a C-suite board room and be capable of selling civil BIM lifecycle productivity solutions, that span solutions around both software and hardware systems. Our technology is market leading and you’ll leverage your industry knowledge and skills to be at the forefront of its growth and success regionally.
With your industry knowledge you’ll be able to target and engage with civil infrastructure project owners, engineers and large contractors, particularly as these parties join forces in an alliance or PPP (Private Public Partnership) project. Business development will start with Key, Strategic Projects and Accounts in the region, ensuring coordination with the Trimble ecosystem of partners – both software VARs and/or other Trimble dealer channels and their sales organisations.


  • Help identify metrics from initial projects such as ROI, cost savings from Constructability studies, and schedule analyses that assist the Partner and customer in winning approval of funds for additional implementation.

  • Travel with Partners and meet all stakeholders in the construction process to ensure that they have a thorough understanding of our solution and its benefits.

  • Monitor activity through our Partners to ensure that the customer is being well treated and professionally managed.

  • Managing, Training, Coaching, and Motivating Partners: Work with Software Reseller Partners to ensure existing customers succeed in order to expand their usage of our Construction solutions and services.

  • Work with Technical Sales Engineers to identify opportunities to improve the Partner's skills and performance and hold scheduled and ad hoc training classes.

  • Be a Hunter and drive to generate new business.

  • Manage Partners forecast to help the company forecast and meet revenue and market targets.

What Skills & Experience You Could Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required, engineering or construction management.

  • Civil Construction industry experience with skills in construction software solutions. Large project or contractor experience is a plus.

  • Experience in software technology sales with a proven track record of selling large deals and working with partners to maximise revenue.

  • Ability to assist in generating new customer revenue through qualifying, presenting, and assisting in the closing of sales.

  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and strong independent work ethic. Proven ability to take direction and work independently to achieve market goals.
