As a Senior Brand Manager within Personal Health Care (PHC), you will own the development of brand building strategy. Your primary mission is to grow the business (top line, profit, and shares) of the AMA markets. Specifically, you will lead innovation plans, including crafting brand building assets like digital marketing, TV commercials, trial plans, etc. You will lead multi-functional teams to build cohesive commercialization plans; have deep data analytic skills; have deep knowledge, market trends and retail customers; and have the creativity and critical thinking to develop the plans. You are the custodian for all marketing activities for your brand forms across P&G Health AIMEA. Your team Based at our regional headquarters in Singapore, You and other Brand Managers (each handling a brand/category) will report to the Brand Director for the Category or Business Unit. You will work extensively with colleagues from Consumer Market Knowledge, Sales, Communications, Finance etc.

  • Demonstrate positive relationship building skills in initial engagements with multi-functional teams.
  • Excellent marketing campaigns & product innovations and other initiatives launched on time, delivering sales, share and profitability growth
  • Improvement in brand fundamental scores with consumers across markets
Responsibilities of the role
  • Deliver on the brand’s financial commitments, equity and share targets
  • Responsible for the brand's masterplan including global franchise and local feedback
  • Run multi-functional project teams to develop brand ideas and coordinate toolboxes that meets the consumer and HCPs needs, including guidelines for amplification
  • Engage markets to implement & amplify toolboxes for maximum impact & consistency
  • Be the trusted consultant to market teams for all adaptation and amplification work
  • Contributes to the development and execution of strategic brand fundamentals (e.g. brand architecture, targeting, purpose)
  • Consolidates market needs in the region and ensures that they are consistently fostered into the global brand masterplan, and is also the spokesperson of the brand franchise into the region
  • Identify and qualify winning innovation concepts
  • Manage the advertising/other agencies for the brand
  • Where relevant, responsible for geographic footprint expansion into white space within AIMEA
Qualifications
  • Possess strong acumen in the Healthcare business and can partner to offer strategic business solutions
  • Strong and consistent track record for brand development and in-market delivery across FMCG & Healthcare markets.
  • High degree of familiarity and work experience across key local AMA markets like India, Indonesia or Philippines
  • Possessing great understanding of multi-channel selling capabilities like modern retail, high frequency stores, e-commerce and pharmacies
  • 6-8 years of experience of developing successful brand building programs across touchpoints (e.g. TV, Digital, On-Ground, trade marketing);
  • Have prior working experience in a multi-functional team
  • Excellent forward-thinking, strategic and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong negotiator with ability to navigate difficult conversations with global and local counterparts, across different levels of hierarchy
  • Excellent proficiency in English (written & spoken)
