Due to evolving business needs, we are actively recruiting for a Regional Tax Accountant to be part of the established business in Singapore.The RoleReporting to the Tax Manager, you will be supporting the Group\'s international tax strategy and transfer pricing model, co-ordinating external advice as necessary to create and maintain an optimum tax structure and minimising the Group\'s direct and indirect tax cost and exposure. Co-ordinate the preparation of all tax returns ensuring these are consistent with the global tax and transfer pricing model. Work closely with the Group\'s Treasury and Business Development functions to ensure that the correct tax advice is obtained for all new business development opportunities.Ensure all global tax compliance obligations are met and the returns are consistent with the planning structures in place and for ensuring the accurate reporting of tax charges and liabilities under IFRS. Support in providing appropriate tax advice when considering any business development opportunities and international trading scenarios. Liaise with local external tax partners. Coordinate and reply to internal auditors, tax authorities or custom on tax queries or if tax audits are carried out. Assist in internal initiatives to improve processes of collecting tax-related information and tax filing.Your ProfileTo qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with minimum 5 years of relevant tax experience ideally in Big 4 and/or MNC environment. It is essential to have strong knowledge in tax compliance and tax planning ideally from an international perspective.
