About The Role 1. Caring and providing support for 30 residential and daycare cases. 2. Providing rehabilitative counselling, initiating referrals, organizing family sessions, making home visits for residential and daycare cases when required. 3. About The Role 1. Providing rehabilitative counselling, initiating referrals, organizing family sessions, making home visits for residential and daycare cases when required. 3. Active cases must be seen on a weekly basis. For non-active cases, each case must be reviewed at least once a month and the Review and Admissions Committee once in every three months. 4. Interviewing and making assessments on individuals and families who seek admission to the centre. 5. Consulting and discussing with the Manager when cases involve disciplinary measures and when encountering any difficulties. 6. Consulting and discussing cases recommended for discharge with Review and Admissions Committee, exploring discharge plan and seeking their approval before discharge. 7. Attending Review and Admissions Committee Meetings, Staff Meetings, Case Consultations, Case Conferences, etc. 8. Maintaining documentations and records for services provided to cases. 9. Assisting in other duties and functions assigned by the Manager or Centre Director. Candidate Requirements Technical Competencies: 1) Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related discipline 2) 2-3 years relevant experience Core Competencies: 1) Have a passion to serve persons with mental illness and facilitate their recovery 2) Ability to effectively handle crisis situations 3) Effective skills in oral or written communication 4) Bilingual 5) Ability to co-operate and work well within the team as well as independently Preferred achievements / characteristics: Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview.
