Release Manager
Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Release Management: Plan and schedule release cycles, coordinating with development, testing, and deployment teams.
2. Risk Management: Identify and manage risks affecting release scope, quality, and schedules.
3. Communication: Keep stakeholders informed about release plans and updates. This include coordination with other IT representatives from affected sub-systems.
4. Version Control: Oversee software version control.
5. Release Notes: Create and maintain release planning notes.
6. Quality Assurance: Coordinate testing efforts and verify and ensure quality gates are met.
7. Monitoring and Incident Management: After a production release, you\'ll monitor the system for any issues or incidents. If problems arise, Work together with Technical Team and Business Analyst Team to document down the Root Cause Analyst. You will also coordinate with the support team to address them promptly.
8. Bug Fixes and Hotfixes: You oversee the resolution of critical bugs or issues that impact users. This includes prioritizing and deploying hotfixes when necessary.
