Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Repairs and Maintenance section
• Keeps vehicles and equipment in good working condition through preventive maintenance and regular inspection and testing
• Troubleshoots, assesses and repairs defective vehicles and equipment
• Ensures that all vehicles comply with legal and regulatory standards and requirements
• Maintains vehicle records of repair and servicing; Updates records regularly
• Coordinates minor renovation and repairs of work facilities and machines
• Evaluates billing submitted by contractors; processes payments within agreed timelines
• Conducts quality control checks and ensures that all works done by contractors are in accordance with the specifications, quality standards and within the approved budget
• Ensures completion of assigned projects within the agreed timelines and within the approved budget
• Conducts regular inspection to check the conditions of vehicles, facilities and equipment
• Responsible for major and minor repairs of equipment, small tools, facilities, etc.

Job Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), or any business related course
• With at least 2 years of experience in maintenance/repair of facilities and machineries
• Capable of assessing vehicle and machine failures
• Can drive and operate heavy equipment and service vehicles
• Has a valid driver's license with restriction code 1-2-3
• Has initiative and can work with less supervision
• With good problem-solving skills, computer literate
