Project Title: The Science of Learning in Education Centre - Research Assistant Project Introduction: [The Science of Learning Centre was recently launched to oversee the Science of Learning initiative in NIE NTU that aims to provide an institution-wide infrastructure for researchers and teachers to come together and make an impact on the lives of learners in Singapore. It does this by bringing together several research disciplines - including neuroscience, cognitive science, psychology, technology and education - and state-of-the-art neuroimaging psychophysiological data capture techniques and modelling techniques.] Requirements Essential Bachelor's degree (with good honours) in a relevant discipline (e.g. Data Science and Analytics, Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Neuroscience) Proficiency in academic writing Good organizational skills and able to work within tight deadlines Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Interest in education and/or educational research Proficiency in SPSS, Qualtrics and Microsoft Office A strong team player who is also able to work independently and flexibly in a small team Preferred Bachelor's degree (with good honours) in Neuroscience, Psychology Experience in working with teachers and students in Singapore schools Experience in doing qualitative and longitudinal data analysis Responsibilities Conduct metasynthesis review with academic leads Conduct literature searches and reviews Assist in writing research reports, publications and presentation materials with minimum supervision Organise workshops and talks Assist in getting research teams for ideation of research proposals Assist in planning and executing tasks to achieve key deliverables of SoLE Centre including centre level proposals Any other duties as assigned by SoLE team members and Principal Investigator Application Applicants (external and internal) will apply via Workday.
