About CHILD
The Centre for Holistic Initiatives for Learning and Development or CHILD was established under the umbrella of the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS Medicine) with a generous gift from the Lien Foundation. In collaboration with other partners such as the Centre for Evidence and Implementation (CEI) and A*STAR's Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences (SICS), CHILD brings together experts in the field of translational research, child development, and implementation science to help give children the best start to life.
Job Purpose
A key requirement of the role is the ability to recognise the significance of child development research and to support the Centre's work in synthesis and communication of this research to policymakers and practitioners.
We are currently looking for a highly motivated Research Associate to engage directly with academic researchers on a regular basis. You will work across a broad range of research projects and contribute to describing, showcasing and maximising their impact on policy and practice. This is a varied role, offering the opportunity to develop your existing skills in multiple areas, including evidence review, writing, communications and project coordination. You will also have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and understanding of child development research and the ways in which it can contribute to policy and practice and improve outcomes.
