Job Description
The Research Engineer/Associate will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) to design and build high-performance multifunctional metal alloys by advanced manufacturing methods.
The job scope of this position is:
- Conducting literature reviews
- Planning and implementing experiments and simulations
- Writing progress reports and research papers
- Other lab activities
- BE, BS, MSc, or MEng in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of metallurgy, mechanical properties, or additive manufacturing is preferred
- Good attitude, self-motivated, good team player
- Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English
