About the Centre for Quantum Technologies
The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) is a research centre of excellence in Singapore. It brings together physicists, computer scientists and engineers to do basic research on quantum physics and to build devices based on quantum phenomena. Experts in this new discipline of quantum technologies are applying their discoveries in computing, communications, and sensing.
CQT is hosted by the National University of Singapore and also has staff at Nanyang Technological University. With some 180 researchers and students, it offers a friendly and international work environment.

Candidate will take a leadership role in developing an integrated ion trap system to incorporate trapping potentials, photonics, and electronics into a single chip. Candidate is expected to work with members of the group to ensure designs meet the needs of the intended application. It is expected that the candidate will utilize available facilities to carry out necessary process development and fabrication. As necessary, the candidate will be expected to liaise with commercial foundries to meet the objectives of the program.
Job Requirements
Experience with microfabrication techniques and design tools. Must have a PhD with a proven track record in application driven fabrication. Experience with atomic clock systems would be beneficial.
