Our client is an Environmental consultancy in Singapore.
About the role:
Assist Lead Resident Engineer in daily close supervision and coordination duties
Inspect and supervise Contractors' works and tests to Approved Drawings and Specifications
Enforce specifications, national regulations, local Authorities' requirements, Singapore Standards and good practices
Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues with Contractors
Review and comment on Contractors' submissions and follow-up on comments closed out.
Oversee inspection and special testing requirements and ensure coordination of those efforts on all contracts
Ensure inspection documentation fully complies with the local Authorities' requirements
About you:
Degree in Civil Engineering
Registered as Resident Engineer with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore
At least 10 years of relevant experience in construction of large infrastructure project or waste/water management projects, particularly foundation piles, earth retaining or stabilising structures, instrumentation & monitoring, ground improvement and soil investigation works

Work location: Tuas (company transport provided)
Working days: 5.5 days
Contract duration: 1-year (renewable)
