Ensure proper coordination of work among various contractors.
Review and agree on detailed work programs, including time charts and site plans.
Verify that all necessary drawings and instructions have been provided to contractors and that required authorizations are obtained in accordance with the approved schedule.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain site safety.
Identify and report faulty workmanship and defective materials
Verify structural layout, alignment, and levels during construction to ensure adherence to contract drawings.
Inspect structural elements such as slabs, beams, and columns, ensuring proper reinforcement placement and compliance with design specifications.
Requirements:
A recognized Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Valid Resident Engineer (RE) Accreditation Certificate from IES.
Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in supervising building projects. Entry level may apply.
Strong knowledge of the Building Contract Act and relevant regulations.
Maintain systematic site records, and fulfill reporting requirements under the Building Control Act.
Extensive experience in supervising deep basement construction, including top-down construction methods, bored pile systems, precast concrete, and structural steel construction.
* Prior experience in HDB projects is preferred.
