What you'll be doing
Ensure compliance with project specifications, construction drawings, and the Building Control Act and Regulations. Oversee all aspects of the construction process, including maintaining and submitting relevant records. Provide comprehensive support and assistance as directed by the Superintending Officer and/or Professional Engineer. Review and evaluate the Contractor's temporary works to ensure safety and compliance with applicable regulations. Verify that the Contractor's work procedures align with the approved method statements and relevant workplace safety and health regulations. Where necessary, instruct modifications to ensure full compliance. Conduct inspections of completed works and prepare a list of defects, if required.
What we're looking for
Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field' Possesses a Residential Engineer Certificate Knowledge of construction methods, materials and relevant regulations Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead by example Proficient in using engineering software and project management tools * Not a must, but familiarity with HDB construction guidelines and protocols is highly desirable
