Please visit our official website to get it further: www.mtscloud.com Responsibilities Part of the team who provide, on a 24 x 7 basis (inclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays), nine (9) onsite Data Center operations / resident engineers at both Government Data Center 2 ('GDC2') and Government Data Center 3 ('GDC3') in order to support and perform the following scope of works: o Provide the following support for on-boarding in GDC2 and GDC3 in accordance with the Customer's and representative's Standard Operating Procedures: . Take over the GDC Resources from the Government-appointed Supplier for the Customer . Manage the physical access to the Customer's rack in GDC . Ensure the Customer's IT equipment within the rack is mounted in accordance with the Rack Mount Plan . Escort the Customer and Customer-appointed Supplier in GDC for break-fix and onsite activities such as installation works, equipment delivery and maintenance activities related to On-boarding Service . Submit the following requests to the Government-appointed Supplier for the Customer: . (i) GDC Resources subscription requests . (ii) Network-related requests . (iii) Equipment movement requests . (iv) Physical access requests and . (v) Network cabling requests. o Periodic daily physical health checks/verification of hardware equipments in GDC2 and GDC3 at regular intervals. Escalation of hardware failure and imminent hardware failures to the relevant party for follow up action. o Backup tape refresh / loading o Maintain and upkeep server rack diagram o Ensuring tidiness of rack upon every escorting o Hard reset of servers if applicable o Ensure that all resident engineers and personnel are aware of the security requirements applicable to GDC2 and GDC3 and adhere to the said security requirements o Ensure that all resident engineers and personnel do not perform any act or omission which may result in an unauthorised change action to the Customer's system. Requirements Minimum Requirement: Shall ensure, through daily inspection, that the general cleanliness and tidiness of the data centre are maintained by the Customer-appointed Supplier. The DC Operator shall possess minimally the following skill sets: (a) Three (3) years of working experience in Data Centre Engineer Operations experience (b) ITIL v3 Foundation Certification or equivalent This is a 24-month contract position with opportunities for renewal
