Job Description

Assigning available employees to projects in accordance with their skillsets, previous experience, and availability. Monitoring day-to-day project activities and corresponding resourcing. Capacity planning to ensure resources are available for upcoming projects. Monitoring and managing employees' workload, utilization, and overtime hours. Managing and resolving resource conflicts. Overcoming resource shortages through effective resource management techniques, including reallocating resources or assigning additional staff, and informing senior management of issues impacting the ability to meet client needs. Supporting project executives with resource management issues and process improvements. Maintaining awareness of all current and upcoming projects, as well as business development activities, to plan resourcing accordingly. Collaborating with the Business Office, Finance, and HR departments on hiring, project-related incentives, company initiatives, and projects. Documenting processes such as weekly utilization reports and annual workforce planning. Managing new graduate talent and supporting resource development plans.

Required Skills & Experience



Experience



Proven experience in resource management, preferably within a Systems Integrator or IT consulting environment, with a demonstrated focus on employee engagement and development. Strong soft skills including multitasking, analytics, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and forecasting.

Knowledge



Strong understanding of project management methodologies, resource allocation processes, capacity planning techniques, and human resources best practices.

Skills



Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in resource management tools and software.

Education



Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as PMP, HRCI, or SHRM-CP are a plus.

Additional Skills



Good knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI is an added advantage.
