The RF Engineer is responsible for the operational readiness, maintenance, and technical support of radio communication systems and accessories. This role supports both internal users and external stakeholders through system testing, troubleshooting, and demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Management and Maintenance
Manage and maintain a fleet of radio communication devices and associated accessories.
Ensure all equipment is operational, properly inventoried, and compliant with relevant standards.
Fault Diagnosis and Overseas Repair Coordination
Perform fault-finding and root cause analysis on malfunctioning systems.
Coordinate with overseas vendors or service centers for repair and replacement of faulty equipment.
User Support for Testing and Experimentation
Assist users in conducting tests and experiments involving RF systems.
Provide technical guidance and ensure safe and effective use of equipment during trials.
Sales and Demonstration Support
Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support during product demonstrations.
Set up and operate RF systems to showcase capabilities to potential clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
Proficiency in IP networking, including configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls to support radio system connectivity.
Hands-on experience with RF systems, radio equipment, and diagnostic tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Willingness to travel and support field operations or client demos.
