Job Description
Our client is a well-known international law firm, looking for a junior risk & compliance analyst to join their compliance team in Singapore to support the growing business.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process conflict checks through the automated system, assessing legal and commercial conflicts.
- Seek additional information when necessary. Maintain and update the conflict search database. Escalate conflict issues to the Risk & Compliance Officer and, if needed, the Head of Risk & Compliance.
- Support timely conflict checks for new matters and record all research and communications for compliance and auditing purposes. Send conflict search listings and monitor responses.
- Reviewing customer profiles and documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensuring compliance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CDD (Customer Due Diligence) regulations.
- Min 2 years of working experience in a compliance or a similar position. Preferably in the legal professional services environment or law firms.
- Well-versed with international rules around conflicts of interests.
