Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development of Road Transport Safety Strategy.
• Management of Road Transport Strategy Initiative.
• Trainer in occupational safety, occupational health and safety management for the organization.
• Manage Safety of all facilities
• Ensure safety work procedures are fully complied
• Conduct site inspection to ensure rules are adhered to legislative requirements
• Ensure all permits/ licenses are in place
• Facilitate and develop Road Transport Safety and HSE plans
• Ensure permit to work system are carried out
• Ensure that gas freeing procedures are followed
• Ensure that equipment sent to contractors are safe for processing.
• Conduct sites and road checks on transport fleets.
• Development, Implementation, Review of all Safety Procedures & Process
• Maintain and Management of all Transport Licences
• Development Management of HSSE Policy

Required Experience

• Able to conduct RTS and HSSE audits
• Able to conduct incident investigations to identify underlying causes
• Conversant with local Hazmat/RTS and HSSE legislative requirements
• Minimum Diploma and a registered Workplace Safety and Health officer with MOM
• Min 3 years of experience in coordinating safety and loss prevention activities
• Require excellent written, verbal and management skills
• Require computer literate (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and ability to communicate at all levels
• Energetic, resourceful and results oriented
• Have enthusiasm and drive in order to deliver the desired outcome
