Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.

Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored in creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

To carry out repair maintenance works requiring Work-at-Height with Rope Access to Aviary Mesh, Roof, and Building facades; and reactive maintenance requiring rope access.

Perform in-house maintenance work including rectification of building repairs, painting, and carpentry work and other essential FM tasks.

Respond to breakdown issues / fault calls and perform basic troubleshooting works.

Cross deployment to other Parks for high level Work-at-Height with Rope Access for repair maintenance defective work inspection.

Preparation Works (Work Tasks at Height) including:

oTogether with the Rope Access Team, establish cordon of work site before start of work

o Conduct Toolbox briefing before start of work and highlight any safety concerns,

o Conduct mandatory inspection of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure all PPE\'s and equipment are valid,

o Conduct physical check to ensure all Rope Anchored Points to be used by own and working buddy, are safely secured.

Responsible to carry out works in accordance to specified standards or requirements.

Prepare and submit Service / Work reports within specified time.

Ensure work activities do not disrupt venue operations or public activities.

To render assistance to tasks and requests pertaining to Rope Access, where appropriate.

Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum NITEC or higher/ related qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical).

Must have Industrial Rope Access IRATA Cert level 1 and Work-At-Height Certification.

At least 3 years of relevant experience in Rope Access for roof of building fa\xc3\xa7ade.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to perform basic troubleshooting work.

Possess good knowledge on Microsoft Office and basic report writing skills.

Positive working attitude and an effective team player.
