Roles & Responsibilities – Safety Coordinator
Responsibilities

• 
  Project site overall safety management and coordination
• To ensure all personnel closely adhere to the on-site safety protocols in place
• Coordination with personnel from both main-contractors and sub-contractors regarding safety related issues / matters
• Ensure all works proceed in accordance with the safety standards and method statements given
• Ensure all personnel on site are equipped with proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Ensure all PPE and other tools on site are not faulty, damaged, or worn-out
• To make sure all site staff attend the Tool Box Meetings (TBM)
• To prepare site related forms like MA & RA

Requirements

• 
  Minimum Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or similar course
• Has at least 5 years of experience in Singapore in the construction industry as a Safety Coordinator or higher position
• Has attained Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) certificates or similar qualifications related to the construction industry
• Has experience working for LTA projects / high-rise buildings
• Is able to prepare and submit detailed reports in written form
