Job Responsibilities

• Ensure operational compliance with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental
• Control regulations and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with relevant site personnel on enhancing worksite safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure all documentation, permits, licenses related to work place safety, health and environmental control required by authorities and management are kept in Order.
• Conduct site safety inspection and enforce compliance on prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations.
• Conduct Safety Committee meetings, organize safety events, and perform other related tasks.
• Supervise and attend to all issues related to workplace safety, health and environmental control.
• Assist in the implementation and continual review of WSHMS (Workplace Safety & Health Management System)
• Assist in conducting safety training / briefing such as familiarization on Risk
• Managements standardize procedures to the respective site team to ensure safety awareness that the operations are safe and in compliance with statutory regulations and international standards / practices
• Support projects, overseeing daily construction activities while ensuring the completion, safety and quality of all project follow-up actions
• Prepare and manage project schedule to ensure project completion within schedule.
• Attend site meetings and inspections with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Any other duties that may be assigned

Requirements

• Professional Certificate/NITEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree
• Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutes.
• At least 3 years of experiences in processing manufacturing environment and industrial/construction project
• Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently.
