Safety Manager
Job Description
The Safety Manager will oversee construciton and will be responsible for:
1. Establish project HSE management system including HSE mannual, HSE inspection plans, incentive programs and training programs in accordance with both Client requirements and company HSE management system.
2. Coordinate project HSE contingency operations, implement HSE inspections , participate in HSE meetings with Client and related stakeholders, and conduct internal HSE meetings within project organization.
3. responsible for HSE risk assessment and mitigation plans, coordinate the efforts in risk responses to identified HSE risks and implement regular HSE inspections.
4. report to and communicate with headquarter HSE department and company managers as regards project HSE management status on a regular basis and coordinate special inspections conducted by company headoffice manager.
You will need to have more than 10 years' experience in the Petrochemical/Chemical sector working on engineering & construction projects in safety management, ideally with international experience. You will also need to speak Mandarin to be able to liase with subcontractors and site teams.
5. Able to work in Jurong Island.
