1) Responsibilities:
a) Assist to conduct Safety induction for Contractors & New Staff; b) Daily site walkabout to identify unsafe condition and unsafe practices. To compile into a report for distribution to all involved parties; c) Be the Custodian for all safety documentation. (Eg. Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work procedures etc). Update files when necessary; d) Escort contractors. Eg. Pest control, fire alarm etc; e) Conduct weekly Toolbox talk for each department; f) Assist to arrange for WSH & Fire Safety meeting; g) Attend WSH/FSM inspection and follow up inspection findings/ closing with stakeholders; h) Update the Safety Notice Board; i) Update all necessary Permit, Licenses and training certificates; j) Any other HR duties. Eg. Update toiletries inventory, process WICA submission etc; k) Collect and update Fire Register (Fire Warden - Staff Name List); l) Update required corporate reports. Eg Sustainably Report; m) Coordinate with WSH Officer(WSHO) and Fire Safety Manager(FSM) for trainings. Eg. Table Top Exercise, Fire Drills, Internal WSH trainings; n) Arrange for mandated WSH & FSM requirements. Eg, Noise Monitoring in the factory and Audiometry test etc; o) Any other duties assigned by the HR manager.
2) Requirements:
a) Minimum WSQ CERTIFICATE IN WORKPLACE SAFETY AND HEALTH;OR Equivalent (subject to HR review and approval) b) Minimum 1 year experience in workplace & fire safety; c) Must be able to demonstrate capability or experiences in carrying out (1); d) Preferably Mandarin speaking candidates to communicate with Mandarin speaking associates
