Ensuring that vessels are fully capable of executing their voyages and daily operations in strict compliance with Charterers\' Voyage Orders, owner\'s policies, and procedures.
Managing and organizing vetting inspections, including submissions on the OCIMF SIRE online platform.
Serving as a Deputy Designated Person Ashore (DPA) to provide support and assistance in monitoring vessel operations.
Overseeing and promoting compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards for the vessels.
Providing advice on regulatory changes, requirements, and industry best practices.
Collaborating closely with the Technical Superintendent to ensure the efficient budgeting of the assigned vessels.
Conducting pre-vetting inspections of the assigned vessels, either on board or remotely.
Evaluating and addressing inquiries regarding the vessels\' capabilities and performances.
Ensuring terminal operators and oil majors conform to the Charterers\' requirements.
Planning and conducting assigned ship visits in close coordination with senior management.
Collaborating with the General Manager to plan and execute crew change requirements.
Managing all matters related to Flag State and Port State relations.
Participating in the company\'s emergency response team.
Providing support, training, and enforcement of crew competency and discipline.
Ensuring timely updates of the Q88 and HVPQ.
Undertaking ad-hoc tasks and assignments assigned by the General Manager.
Supervising navigational matters for the vessels, which includes reviewing passage plans and conducting navigation audits.
Serving as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the assigned vessels.
Enhancing and continuously improving the company\'s Safety Management System (SMS) by offering guidance and information on changes.
Requirements:
Seagoing experience as a Master on LPG Tankers, coupled with at least 2 years of onshore experience in managing LPG Tankers.
Proficiency in safety, health, and environmental management and compliance for LPG tankers.
Familiarity with international and local maritime regulations and requirements.
Additional sailing experience on LPG tankers is advantageous.
