Manage and grow assigned customer accounts across various sectors (e.g. automotive, industrial and medical).
Identify and penetrate new business opportunities to expand market presence.
Support design-in efforts in collaboration with customers' engineering and R&D teams.
Understand product roadmaps and proactively update customers on relevant changes, including end-of-life (EOL) notices.
Follow-up on sales leads, RFQs, quotation, and coordinate order processing to ensure timely delivery.
Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports and forecasts.
Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
Work together in resolving technical and commercial issues with the support from principals and product team.
Liaise with principals on pricing, availability, technical queries, and new product introductions.
Provide market feedback to suppliers for continuous product and service improvement.
Regular visit to customer sites for business reviews, design support, and relationship building.
Travel overseas for customer meetings, principals visit, or trade shows as required.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
Offer insights and recommendations to enhance sales strategies and pricing competitiveness.
Job Specifications:
Diploma holder in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the electronic components industry.
Experience on electronics component distribution will be an advantage.
Willing to travel locally and internationally as required.
Self-motivated, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Capable of working independently and within cross-functional teams.
