The Commercial Solutions Execution Team (CSET) is a global organization that drives end-to-end operational excellence in launching, landing, and executing non-standard product and service offerings in a streamlined and compliant way. We are seeking a collaborative team member to help us further grow our Field & Operations Enablement team. The Field & Operations Enablement team's mission is to empower the Commercial Sales teams to be their best through comprehensive readiness, informed advocacy, and active community building. To that end, this role focuses on the enablement of our sales organization, mostly the 800+ Commercial Executives (CEs), that are our customer-facing dealmakers. This role also serves as the interface between our Corporate strategy and Field sales teams. The role's regional focus will be Microsoft's APAC area, India, Australia and New Zealand. Responsibilities As one of five globally located Sales Excellence & Strategy Managers, your primary responsibilities will include: Gather valuable feedback from CMs, CEs, our Finance stakeholders, and others, and share this business insight with related Corp teams to help further develop and adapt programs and offers to best fit with customers' and sellers' requirements. Enable CE role effectiveness through developing and implementing licensing sales readiness activities that allow the CEs to become top performing licensing solution negotiators. Engage with Commercial Managers and Commercial Executive leadership to identify critical areas of improvement in the CE role, processes, and readiness. Drive and land global and regional projects that impact the CM and CE role. Own planning, execution, and delivery of change management projects by assessing impact for the community, bringing in relevant stakeholders, orchestrating resources, and activities. Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications 8+ years relevant business experience in one or more of these fields: commercial sales / account executive / sales operations / enterprise marketing / sales excellence. Proven ability to manage across organizational boundaries, influence others, build on the work of others and influence senior executives. Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills. Experienced in using data to drive business outcomes or inform business decisions. Ability/flexibility to work across different time zones and travel (domestically and internationally, 10%). Additional or Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field or MBA preferred. Experienced in managing projects, including planning, managing timelines, and tracking progress, and/or change management. Passion for strategic thinking and envisioning the future, and the ability to realize it. Propensity to learn and identify opportunities for improvement. Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
