Manage, nurture and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities
Identify strong potential prospects using initiative and creativity, to generate outbound lead opportunities
Assess and analyse a prospects current process and requirements
Provide engaging and articulate information about Company value proposition to potential customers
Maintain well organised, up-to-date and accurate sales information and activity reports in Salesforce CRM system
Demonstrates ability to interact professionally with potential customers via phone, email, telephone conferencing, webinars and face to face, to discover their business needs and develop a positive business relationship
Proficient in the use of social media tools like LinkedIn, Twitter, SEO optimisation
Sales Support
Handle incoming calls and correspondence, alerting reps to any urgent issues, update reps on order status and delivery details
Responsible for processing orders by telephone or email (Check that orders include the correct prices, discounts and product information and enter them into the company's computer system)
Arrange appointments for the sales team and supply any presentation or product information that reps need for meetings
Prepare/Process Delivery Order, Vendor Registration Application, Non-Disclosure Agreement, and any other documentation required.
Interact with customers on verification process as well as Resellers and Partner to identify and resolve technical issues
Provide first level Technical Support via phone and email for Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificates
Coordinate with and escalate highly technical issues to the Service Delivery Team and/or Partner if necessary
Support Manager in the area of servicing existing customers and maintaining good relationships
Requirements:
Diploma or Polytechnic graduate in Computer and/or Information Technology, Sales and Marketing
3-5 years' proven experience in prospecting and lead generation and 1-2 years' experience in sales management
Experience of B-to-B sales, preferably in IT solutions
Experience of working collaboratively in a combined sales & marketing team
Proven track record of hitting or exceeding personal sales targets
Competent IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, google programs and social networking tools
