We are hiring under Recruit Express headcount and you will be deployed to:

Location: Paya Lebar

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm (Mon - Fri)

Basic + Commissions

Responsibilities

• Follow up with leads through venue platforms and social media channels
• Collaborate with the marketing department to execute strategic marketing plans that lead to increased sales revenue and customer acquisition
• Identify potential clients and actively seek out new sales opportunities through various channels
• Identify potential collaborators and maintain positive relationships
• Conduct site visits with clients to understand their event needs, provide information on catering options and discuss pricing and contracts
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals
• Collaborate with other departments, such as service crew, operations, and kitchen, to ensure seamless execution of events.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while ensuring profitability for the company
• Prepare proposals and presentations to effectively communicate the venue and catering offerings and value proposition to potential clients
• Track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
• Continuously evaluate and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action
• Maintain a high level of knowledge about the industry, including competitive landscape, pricing, and market trends.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals as set by the company
• Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after events to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies.
• Ensure that all sales and customer service activities are in compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Follow up with feedback after the event
• Maximize revenue by up-selling packages including food and beverage
• Provide ad hoc support for fairs/related events

Requirements:

• Diploma
• At least 1 year of experience preferred
• Previous experience in f&b or the hospitality industry is an advantage
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and vendors
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing proposals, contracts, and other sales-related documents
• Proven track record of successful sales experience in a similar industry
• Customer-centric mindset with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding customer expectations
• Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other teams to ensure seamless event execution
• Possess a positive attitude and mindset
• Computer skills: Google Drive, Google doc - sheet - slides - calendar
