We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated candidate to join the Asian team as Sales Manager Asia for the Infrastructure sector. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a mission-driven, hyper-growth stage organization that is paving the way for a more sustainable real asset sector. Your main responsibility is to co-develop and execute the GRESB Infrastructure business development plan for your assigned territory within the Asian region. This will require a specific focus on attracting new Infrastructure Members (asset owners, fund managers, asset operators) and building positive relationships with existing Members in the Infrastructure sector. In this role, you will liaise with functional internal teams, including Member Relations, Member Success, Marketing & Communications, IT, and Product Development teams, to improve the entire Member experience. This position will require travel across key Asian markets. Particular preference will be given to candidates located in Infrastructure heavy markets like Singapore, Hong Kong, or India. Responsibilities


  • Co-develop and execute business development plans for assigned territory within Asia
  • Meeting and exceeding set targets for growth in your assigned territory
  • Increase Infrastructure Member base by identifying and managing a pipeline of prospect Members and sales opportunities
  • Build and establish productive relationships with Infrastructure prospects and Members you onboard
  • Provide sales input on market needs and pricing to ensure product success
  • Partner with prospective Members to understand their business needs and objectives, feeding these into the product development process
  • Work closely with colleagues on cross-territory opportunities and other internal teams on marketing materials, sales campaigns, and case studies as requested
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Infrastructure market trends, business products and value propositions
  • Support the development of key accounts through email, phone, online presentations and demonstrations, and in-person meetings
  • Represent GRESB at external events, conferences, industry working groups, etc.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years’ experience in successful attainment of sales targets within the Infrastructure fund or asset sector. Experience with and knowledge of sustainability/ESG issues highly preferred
  • Strong infrastructure industry network and the ability to develop this further
  • University degree in a relevant field such as investment, real estate, infrastructure, business, economics or sustainable finance is required. Advanced degrees in any of the same areas is very attractive
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-oriented and mission-driven environment
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • Extensive experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), MS Office, and video conferencing
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple opportunity pursuits at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, commercial and interpersonal skills
  • Must possess the right to work in the chosen location
  • Fluency - both verbal and written - in English is mandatory
