Opening 2nd Quarter 2023, Pan Pacific Orchard presents the pinnacle of design by award-winning WOHA, located in Singapore\'s prime district Orchard Road.

The 23-floor destination hotel redefines the city\'s landscape with four themed open-air terraces of distinctive design concepts - Forest, Beach, Garden and Cloud.

Nestled amidst the Forest Terrace is new signature restaurant Mosella, which will introduce a sharing concept of Mediterranean cuisine with a refreshing Peruvian twist. The Beach Terrace will bring a resort-like experience to the heart of the city, and above, the Garden Terrace will be home to Florette, the Champagne & Oysters specialty bar. At the highest levels of the Cloud Terrace, level 18 will house Orchard\'s highest pillarless ballroom, Claymore Ballroom.

The Role

Be part of the pre-opening team of PAN PACIFIC ORCHARD, SINGAPORE to redefine the city\'s landscape.

The Sales Manager - Corporate is responsible to implement and execute all sales activities to maximize revenue opportunities for the Hotel in both the corporate and MICE segment. He/She conducts all day-to-day activities related to the sales function with focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives.

Our Expectations:

  • Personally manage and actively supervise the management of key accounts. Closely monitor accounts\' revenue and business production.
  • Conduct quarterly account reviews to identify opportunities and revenue generation from the specific accounts. Proactively seek in-depth knowledge of owned accounts to understand its total revenue impact on the hotel for better negotiation opportunities.
  • Conduct sales blitzes and telesales to develop new businesses.
  • Follow-up on calls with the Catering Sales and Event Services Team to gather feedback and solicit new or repeat business.
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales to understand sales strategy, create and implement sales plan addressing revenue, customers and the market for the owned segment.
  • Keep abreast of the current and future competitor\'s products, pricing and sales programs and deploys resources to efficiently optimize REVPAR and achieve/ maintain the leading market position.
  • Involve in the day-to-day pricing discussion on key accounts under his/her portfolio in conjunction with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Revenue and Director of Sales.
  • Actively supports and execute group or hotel-wide sales initiatives / promotions, proactively seek in-depth knowledge of accounts owned to understand its total revenue impact on the hotel for better negotiation opportunities.
  • Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
  • Gain understanding of the property\'s primary target customer and service expectations; serves customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns to offer better business solution both prior to, and during the event.
  • Monitor the effective resolution of guest issues that arise as a result of the sales process by creating mechanisms to channel issues to property leadership and/or other appropriate stakeholders.
Talent Profile

We are looking for a self-motivated \'hunter\' with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong business acumen. You should have an eye for detail yet creative and nimble with ability to adapt to ever changing requirements and needs of customers.
