SMT Technology is expanding and seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be a pivotal part of our Sales & Business Development team, focusing on the Precision Engineering industry. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales growth while effectively representing our company to customers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Lead market development efforts, educating customers on the advantages of our SMT\xe2\x80\x99s product and service ranges.
Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to preparing proposals and participating in negotiations with clients.
Manage and maintain existing customer accounts and relationships and identify new sales opportunity.
Develop and maintain a weekly sales plan, providing regular reports on sales activities to management.
Manage ongoing opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
Collaborate with the technical team to understand product specifications and system design requirements.
Interpret customer needs and work with the technical team to propose appropriate product solutions.
Requirements:
Experience in sales position in precision engineering industry with proven track record of sales performance.
Experience in industrial product sales, preferably with knowledge of automation, chucking systems or cutting tools will be an advantage.
Knowledge and experience in precision engineering, with practical expertise in machining processes, is highly advantageous.
Ability to collaborate with the technical team to deliver client-focused solutions tailored to customer needs.
Strong sales, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently in a multi-tasking environment.
