Manage the Service Department to drive business growth and improve profitability by overseeing service calls, scheduling resources, maintaining optimal staffing levels, generating sales revenue, ensuring suitable margins, and controlling stock and equipment.
Collaborate effectively with the Directors, General Manager, and Senior Managers of affiliated companies to achieve common objectives and explore opportunities for the company\'s expansion.
Assist in creating production paperwork detailing the correct manufacture of the company\'s door products, as required by clients.
Negotiate and resolve any disputes that may arise with customers, suppliers, or other parties during business operations.
Prepare invoices related to serviced products and ensure they are processed and mailed before the end of the servicing month.
Report any incidents or matters that may involve the company or its insurers incurring liability or be of interest to the Directors of the Company, including but not limited to product liability, public liability, workers\' compensation, motor vehicle accidents, industrial disputes, and criminal or civil actions.
Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of the company\'s products and services to meet customer requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, assertive attitude.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
