K+S Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is the regional sales hub of K+S Minerals and Agriculture and is serving the Asia Pacific region with a wide range of potassium and magnesium fertilizers and potassium, magnesium and sodium chloride salts for industrial, animal or food ingredient or for pharmaceutical and health care applications.

The advertised position will focus on our regional sales activities in the industrial, food and feed sector in Southeast Asia (S.E.A). This position is offering an excellent opportunity to be responsible for an interesting industry segment giving the chance to interact with a broad spectra of customers. K+S Asia Pacific has the endeavour to develop key markets in the region for its sodium chloride based applications.

The successful candidate should be a team player, processing good interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for sales, business development and customer support activities in selected South East Asian markets.

2. Development of the overall existing business but with stronger focus on new customer acquisition and exploration of new sales markets.

3. Setting and delivering of annual sales and profitability targets to continue to grow and drive organizational performance.

4. Develop and implement performance tracking metrics to track, control and support all sales, business development and customer service activities.

5. Development of a growth-oriented market position.

6. Customer portfolio and relationship management.

7. Regional Demand and Price Planning (monthly and mid-term).

8. Coordinator and customer interface with all relevant departments of sales, marketing and supply chain in Germany and Singapore.

9. Negotiation of pricing, contracts and quantities.

10. Assessment of regional and country specific market trends and competitor behavior.

11. Quality management for feed safety assurance.

12. Frequent customer engagement including site visits and participation in local fairs/ exhibitions.

Requirement: 1. Bachelor degree in business administration with min 2 years work experience; preferably with experience in market and business development in the Chemical Industry.

2. Expert knowledge of the application of sodium chloride grades in Industry, Food, Feed and Pharma segment would be beneficial.

3. Good knowledge in MS Office applications, SAP ERP, SAP BW and C4C.

4. The position assumes readiness to travel and inter-cultural competence.
