The Sales Specialist, who reports to the Director, is to manage a designated set of accounts in the Global MNCs, Large and Small Enterprise sector as Channel Sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide pre-sales technical engagement with the Account Managers to assist them to win new deals or to renew the existing contract with the customer.
  • Provide RFP and Pricing Management support to the account team to ensure that they are able to win such RFPs.
  • To interface with Legal/Contract Manager to ensure that all executed contracts by the Account team are aligned with the company contract policy.
  • To have an intimate understanding of the fast changing market landscape and the new technologies in Data Centre industry in order to develop plan to shape the market.

Requirements:
  • A recognised degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline. A basic knowledge in Data Centre service will be an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of direct or channel sales experience in Data Centre with exposure in the Enterprise industry will be a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Data Centre knowledge e.g. Green Energy, mechanical/electrical engineering related issues.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams is a necessity.
  • Able to project strong, positive image of self and company.
  • Able to build good customer relationship with all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills to maintain and strengthen customer and partnership relationships.
  • Deliver professional sales presentation, proposals and reports.
  • High proficiency in MS Word, Excel & Power-point presentation.
  • Self-starter, resourceful with strong business acument.
  • Good team player.
