What does the role involve?

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Indoor Sales Tendering Executive to join us. Our people come from different backgrounds with a shared dedication to high performance and consistent results. You will be part of the indoor sales team to support regional South East Asia business growth.

As a Tendering Executive, you will work closely as part of our Indoor Sales Support Team with our sales & project team to maximize our customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibility will be to work with sales & project teams to understand and respond to customer enquiries, accurately interpret them into our own product that best matches customers requirement, prepare tenders and RFQs for bid proposals and support the post sales activities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company\'s products and services align with customer requirements, while also contributing to the overall success of our tendering process.

Responsibilities:

Customer Enquiry Analysis:

  • Understand the scope of the enquiry and identify the key requirements and deliverables.
  • Engage in effective communication & collaboration with sales & project teams and customers or any other relevant stakeholders to clarify any ambiguities or gather additional information.
Item Number Interpretation:
  • Work with sales & project teams to Interpret customer requirements.
  • Identify and map the most suitable products and services from our offerings to meet customer needs.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency while assigning item numbers to customer enquiries.
Quotation Preparation:
  • Prepare accurate quotations based on the interpreted customer enquiries.
  • Gather pricing information, costs, and other relevant data from system and suppliers.
  • Ensure that quotations are comprehensive, including all necessary details, terms, and conditions in timely manner.
Product and Service Knowledge:
  • Develop a deep understanding of our company\'s products and services.
  • Stay updated on the latest product developments, features, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the product and sales teams to gather necessary information to accurately interpret customer enquiries.
Post sales:
  • Process Customer PO and work with factory on Production & Delivery Schedule, expedite when required.
  • Work closely with operation team to ensure customer orders are fulfilled in timely & satisfactory manners.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need is:
  • Diploma or Degree, preferably in Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately interpret customer enquiries.
  • Comfortable with technical products and services is advantageous.
  • Strong customer orientation and problem-solving and can-do attitude
  • Excellent Communicator & Comfortable to work with others, be part of the team to implement the change
  • Self-motivated, highly energetic and willingness to explore self-potential in different areas
  • Proven experience to work in multi-culture environment, ability to work with stakeholders from different background
  • Proficient in MS Excel and solid knowledge in SAP/ERP
